I asked my clients to send me an honest review and photos they would like to post. These are a couple responses I received.

What we did:
Alexis's goal: Lose Body Fat, Gain Muscle
Obstacles:
- BUSY work life (she's a business owner!)
- Terrible at nutrition due to work schedule
- Never lifted a single weight in her life
What we did:
We changed things little by little, focusing on forming better habits to her already chaotic schedule. Starting with gym consistency first, then to nutrition habits and focusing on form over weight to start.
We worked hard on correct form in the beginning not as focused on quick result, but quality learning for long-term plan to make fitness part of her life, not just a chapter. I wanted her to lifts to be confident, close to perfect form and mostly get comfortable being uncomfortable while learning!
We worked on nutritional sustainability. Essentially, how can we improve while still handling a crazy work schedule. As we progressed we figured out what works for her and little by little created a completely new habit of eating.
Today, Alexis has very clean and powerful lifts! She has been consistently progressing especially with muscle growth breaking personal records almost weekly. Her nutrition has improved significantly and she understands her body more than ever before!
I never have to get on her about logging workouts, she now enjoys her gym days and always shows up ready to put love into herself and her body every time! I'm incredibly proud of her progress and now she has officially started Body Building so watch out for her next 6-months of progress, they will be fierce!!

What we did:
Omar's goal: Get into healthier habits, lose a little body fat and tone up
Obstacles:
- Busy work life between job & performing at night at Pam Dulcé
- Eating habits were mostly eating out
- Gym intimidation
What we did:
With Omar, I first evaluated what was most intimidating with them when it came to the gym. After discussing I was able to get to the root of what and why which helped me form a plan to move forward.
For our first month we focused on getting comfortable. Their plan was built around learning more than anything. Touching everything from a kettle bell, dumbbell, barbell, smith machine, cable machine, etc.
We worked on form and understanding how to connect the mind with the muscle they were working on. We also worked on building some better stamina for their performances so they could easily make it through a show without as much exhaustion.
Lastly, we worked on consistency of course. With their travel schedule, it's difficult for them to get back on when coming back. With each trip, i've noticed I have to touch base less and see the workouts being logged.
Forming habits really changes everything!

Abby's Goal: Understand better movement that works for her & get more comfortable in the gym
Obstacles:
- Had issues with previous trainer
- Medical Obstacles made weight loss difficult
What we did:
Abby came to me frustrated with her journey as she has tried many things in her life with the gym. Many of these methods you would think work, but do not at the end of the day and are not sustainable.
We broke it down, dug into everything from before and issues she had. Once I had a better idea of where she has been, I was able to form a plan that was perfect for her.
She is one of the few clients that has no issues with her nutrition, but we had many other obstacles for her to overcome. One thing I can note, is Abby is incredibly hardworking and not scared to just jump in.
We got more solid routines down and feeling stronger and better with every workout! I cannot wait for her to return!
